Create Change Chesterfield. March 2019. Event Listing

Do you wish you could create change in society? The RSA was founded on a belief that the creativity of ideas could enrich social progress.

This event will include exciting participatory activities and informative speakers to fill us with inspiration and start us on our journey to creating change
We’ll learn more about current RSA projects and campaigns: becoming informed can be the first step to taking action.

We're delighted that Anthony Painter, Director of the RSA’s Action and Research Centre, will be joining us by video link. Why not take a look at Anthony’s recent blog on the challenges facing millennials and some of the ideas the RSA has to help.
RSA-supported Talkshop, who specialise in giving people a voice in matters that concern them, will also be joining us.
There’ll also be a chance to get active and creative in our hands-on session craftivism.
This event is for everyone - especially those in the age group who find themselves juggling work/family/homelife. Children are welcome – we have crèche facilities, and workshops to keep young people engaged.
Lunch will be provided.

This event is a starting place, an introduction to new ideas, an entry into the world of social action.

On this day we will support each other, energise each other and fuel our desire to make change.
